“We Produce in Greece” NSRF 2026 — What It Is and Who It’s For
Short Answer“We Produce in Greece” is a new action of the NSRF 2021–2027 / “Competitiveness” Program with a budget of 50 million euros. It provides a subsidy of 50%–55% to existing manufacturing SMEs for investments of 100,000€–400,000€. Applications: With the 2nd Amendment, the submission deadline was extended until Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 15:00. via OPSKE.
If you have a manufacturing business and are planning to upgrade equipment, digitize or enhance extroversion, “We Produce in Greece” is one of the key actions worth considering during this period.
The action is part of the “Competitiveness” Program of the NSRF 2021–2027 and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and national resources. Objective: to strengthen domestic production and expand exports.
In his public statements, the Assoc. Minister Nikos Papathanasis has highlighted practical examples of the logic of the action, such as that in a €400,000 investment project the basic subsidy can reach €220,000, provided that the conditions of the call are met.

Official NSRF Call — “We Produce in Greece”
1st Amendment to the Call (30/3/2026)
Pre-publication “We Produce Here” (November 2025)
ιος 2025)
Eligible KADs in “We Produce in Greece” — Which Activities Are Included and Which Are Excluded
Short Answer
Eligible are KADs for processing and manufacturing (Annex II of the call). The KAD must exist before the submission. With the 1st Amendment 30/3/2026, the olive oil KADs 10.41.22, 10.41.22.01, 10.41.22.02 were removed. If you are not sure, do a free check.
The program was known in the pre-publication as “We Produce Here”, but in the final call it was published as “We Produce in Greece”. It is aimed at businesses that produce products — not commercial or pure services. Eligible sectors cover food, beverages, textiles, metals, electrical appliances, industrial machinery, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, plastics and many more.
⚠️ Ineligible KADs — 1st Amendment 30/3/2026:
10.41.22 — Production of crude olive oil
10.41.22.01 — Production of crude olive pomace oil
10.41.22.02 — Olive pressing services
If you are exclusively active in these KADs, you are not eligible for this program.
Indicative business sectors that usually consider the program
If you do not know for sure the exact KAD of your business, you can first see if you belong to a broader manufacturing or processing industry. In practice, companies that frequently request pre-audits for the “We Produce in Greece 2026” program operate in sectors such as:
- Food / Beverages
- Herbs / Infusions / Coffee / Tea / Spices
- Cosmetics / Chemicals
- Plastics / Packaging
- Fabrics / Textiles
- Clothing / Leather / Footwear
- Wood / Furniture
- Building Materials / Glass / Ceramics
- Metal Products / Metal Constructions
- Electrical or Electrical Equipment
- Machinery / Industrial Equipment
- Paper / Printing / Paper Packaging
- Other processing sectors
Attention: The above categorization is indicative and only helps in a first approach. The final eligibility is determined by the exact KAD of the company, the activity carried out and the list of eligible KADs of the call.
If you are not sure which category you belong to or if your KAD is included in the eligible ones, you can do a free pre-eligibility check and our team will make an initial assessment.
The full list of eligible KADs can be found in Annex II of the detailed call. The fastest way to check if your KAD is eligible: free check with a specialized advisor — avoid time-consuming mistakes.
Beneficiaries of the Program — Step-by-Step Participation Requirements
Short Answer
Beneficiaries: existing manufacturing SMEs with (a) at least 1 closed use, (b) at least 1 AWU of dependent employment in the previous year, (c) eligible KAD before submission, (d) 25% equity participation. Valid nationwide.
- Closed period: At least 1 full closed administrative period before submission.
- Employment AWU: At least 1 AWU of employee work in the previous calendar year — automatically verified by ERGANI.
- Eligible KAD: Must be in the registry before submission.
- Equitable participation 25%: Proven coverage of 25% of the budget.
- Legal form: SA, LTD, OE, EE, IKE, Individual, etc. — 1 application per VAT number.
How do you prove 25% equity — What exactly does the agency ask for
This is one of the most common points of confusion. It’s not enough to just have the money — you have to prove it with specific documents before or during submission.
- ✅
Bank balance statement — Official document from a bank confirming an available balance ≥ 25% of the budget.
- ✅
Loan pre-approval letter — Official letter from a bank with a specific approval amount (not a simple confirmation of interest).
- ✅
Equity from balance sheet — Proven equity from the last closed balance sheet.
- ✅
Leasing agreement — If part of the equipment is acquired through financing lease.
- ❌
Screenshot of account — NOT accepted. Official bank document required.
- ❌
Reserved amounts — NOT counted. Must be freely available.
💡 MegaProfit Tip:If you don’t have 25% in cash, the solution is to pre-approve a loan before the submission — not after. The bank’s letter with the amount is sufficient as proof of own participation. See Case 3 in the examples below.
What does “1 AWU of Dependent Labor” mean in practice
The ALU (Annual Labor Unit) is one of the most misunderstood terms. Many companies think they are completing it — and they are not.
📊 How is 1 AWU calculated:
1 AWU = 1 full-time employee for 12 months (full-time).
Or equivalently: 2 part-time employees (50%) for 12 months.
Or: 1 full-time for 6 months + 1 full-time for another 6 months.
Verified exclusively by ERGANI — not by tax return.
❌ What does NOT count as an AWU of dependent employment:
Owners and partners of the business — even if they are employed daily.
Seasonal workers who in total do not reach 1 AWU.
Self-employed with a project contract.
Grant “We Produce in Greece” — How Much Money Do You Get and How Is It Calculated
50% — becomes 55% if ≥80% implemented within 9 months. Investment €100,000–€400,000. Max subsidy €200,000 or €220,000 with bonus. ≤ 2× turnover rule applies for the max budget.
| Investment Plan | 50% Subsidy | 55% Subsidy Bonus | Equity Participation (25%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| €100,000 | €50,000 | €55,000 | €25,000 |
| €150,000 | €75,000 | €82,500 | €37,500 |
| €200,000 | €100,000 | €110,000 | €50,000 |
| €300,000 | €150,000 | €165,000 | €75,000 |
| €400,000 (max) | €200,000 | €220,000 | €100,000 |
The Turnover Rule — How to Calculate Your Max Budget
Maximum grant budget: 120,000€ × 2 = 240,000€
(Within limits — does not exceed the absolute max of 400,000€)
Efficiency Clause — When Do You Return Part of the Subsidy
After completion you must prove improvement in production efficiency. Checked by form E3 — comparison of base year with 1 of the 3 following years after the final payment. If efficiency does not improve: return of 10% of the subsidy.

What Score 75 Means in Practice — How to Improve Your Chances
Before submitting, you do a self-assessment in the OPSKE. If your score is below 75, the system doesn’t allow submission. But 75 is only the entry point — the assessment is comparative and applications are ranked until the budget is exhausted.
⚠️ What is not listed in detail in the text of the call:The official call does not list in the body of the text a complete weighting table of all criteria. The picture of the self-assessment is clarified mainly through the OPSKE and the practical experience of preparing files.
| Evaluation Criterion | What Improves the Score | What Reduces |
|---|---|---|
| Economic efficiency | Profitability, increase in turnover in the last 3 years | Loss, decreasing turnover |
| Employment | More EMU, commitment to new positions | Minimum EMU (marginal 1) |
| Export orientation | Existing foreign customers, exhibitions | Exclusively domestic market |
| Technological level of investment | Industry 4.0, automation, IoT | Simple replacement of old equipment |
| File maturity | Ready-made offers, licenses, business plan | Incomplete documentation |
🎯 Practical advice:The score is not judged only by your financial data — it is judged mainly by the quality of the business plan and its documentation investment. A well-structured portfolio with specific productivity targets and an export plan can make all the difference.

Frequently Asked Questions about the “We Produce in Greece” Program
Initially known in the pre-publication (November 2025) as “We Produce Here” — final call: “We Produce in Greece”, March 24, 2026.
QCan a new company apply?
No. The program is addressed exclusively to existing companies with at least 1 full closed administrative year. If you are just starting out, consider DYPA or other new entrepreneurship programs.
QIs it true that I need 2 closed uses?
Not anymore. The pre-publication “We Produce Here” (November 2025) required 2. The final call (March 2026) reduced it to 1 closed use. Several articles still mention the old one — make sure you read the updated call.
QWhat is OPSKE and how do I submit?
OPSKE (app.opske.gr) is the electronic platform for submitting NSRF applications. It requires registration, full completion of fields and a self-assessment of min 75/100. Applications with blank fields are not accepted.
QWhen do I receive payment — before or after the investment?
After. You implement first, submit a Request for Payment of Support (AKP) with documents, and receive payment. That is why securing your own participation or loan is necessary from the beginning.
QDo I necessarily need a business plan?
Yes — and it is the most critical scoring factor. It documents sustainability, productivity targets and export orientation. The difference between approval and rejection is often judged here.
QWhat happens if I don’t reach the productivity target?
If you don’t demonstrate efficiency improvement (verified by E3 in the next 3 years), you return 10% of the subsidy. For 200,000€ subsidy = 20,000€ refund.
QWhat does De minimis mean — can I combine it with other aid?
The program is granted under the De minimis Regulation (EU 2023/2831) — maximum limit of €300,000 De minimis aid in 3 years. Combination with EAT/TEPIX loans requires a case-by-case review.
QCan I apply if I am outside Attica?
Yes, it applies to all of Greece. The investment must be implemented exclusively in one Region category — expenditures in Attica and Thessaloniki cannot be combined in the same application.
QΜπορώ να υποβάλω αν είμαι εκτός Αττικής;
How MegaProfit Helps You — From the KAD to the Disbursement
“We Produce in Greece” is one of the most demanding NSRFs in recent years — mainly due to the comparative evaluation. It is not enough to meet the requirements. You must have a better portfolio than your competitors.
